Next year sees the start of the 'Try anything Chart Campaign'. Over the course of 2009 Sandweaver will be working on a project to bascially see if the band can make the UK singles download chart.

To scrape in the top 40 you need over 6500 to 7000 downloads in one week. Now for a Worthing unsigned band this sounds impossible, but we have done our home work and are going to have a bash!

The single

We are recording a new single called 'Try Anything' ,which does already have quite an apt title, early in the new year and will be releasing it on itunes one week in Oct 09. We are then spending the year plugging the living hell out of that release date and that week in Oct for when we need all of your downloads. We will be laying on tons of gigs throughout the year including support act competitions for other unsigned bands to get promoted and gather support for the project.

All profit to charity

Just to show that this is an experiment to see if we can gain chart success, we will be donating all profit to the Chestnut Treehouse Appeal for Children based here in Sussex.
